A beautiful and very cool, minimalist 1970's vintage matte black wall clock for all you design lovers. Simple and eye catching with white details, a bright continuously running (not ticking) red seconds indicator and the well known Krups logo. That's all it takes. The design is such, that the clock sits about 3-4 cm (1.25") off the wall surface, and projects a shadow effect behind it - a very clever detail. It is dual C battery operated, with trusty old quartz action. Honestly, I was a little bit over excited when I found this piece. I still am, I think ;)
KRUPS - as labelled on the clock face - a mid nineteenth century pioneer on the market and still a world-renowned kitchen and household appliances manufacturer. Currently my favourite vintage household appliance brand ;) Actually, I get very excited every time I discover a new one. Never mind the price.
CONDITION
Overall the clock is in good vintage shape. No cracks, chips of repairs whatsoever. I have tested the unit and it works perfectly. It's been around for over 30 years so there are a few marks of use (see image 2 and 5) and I would like to mention the scratch on the front bottom left corner, to avoid misleading anybody. It is nothing major, but I want to be fair and have reduced the price accordingly, although, once hung the marks are barely visible.
