Great 1970's vintage wall clock as well as a Kienzle original. This clock comes in a rare black and white checkered / gingham patter and looks fantastic. It has black numerals,shiny chrome dials and a glass face cover. It is battery operated and therefore convenient, elegant and a modern piece, dated back to 1970's Germany.
Kienzle - as labelled on the clock face - a mid nineteenth century pioneer on the market, is one of Germany's oldest watchmakers. Founded in 1822 in Schwenningen. The watch and clock collection of the company includes numerous models in different price segments. The corporate philosophy of Kienzle designs, is to produce distinctive watches / clocks for discerning individuals.
Condition
In good vintage condition - with exception for a minor crack in the top right corner - completely invisible when hung. Otherwise in good working order and, as can be seen from the photographs, it displays beautifully. Takes a standard 1.5V 'C' Type battery.
