It is battery operated and therefore convenient, elegant and a modern piece dated back to 1970s.

In great vintage condition , with minor scratches from cleaning/ In good working order and, as can be seen from the photographs, it displays beautifully. It takes a standard 1.5V 'C' Type battery.
