Iskra ETA 80 series vintage design classic (rotary dial version ETA 82). You are looking at a wonderful brown ETA 80 82 (Electronic Telephone Apparatus) designed in the late 70's and made in the 80's.
Beside the fact that this item won numerous awards for design including the prestigious G Mark of the Japanese Industrial Design Promotion Organisation (JIDPO). The ETA 80 telephone is also included as part of the permanent exhibition of outstandingly designed modern products at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Munich, and Ljubljana Architecture Museum in Slovenia.
This stylish domestic appliance was designed by Davorin Savnik for Iskra. Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia.
The phone is in good working condition with minor ware from use.
