The lamp is made of brown vintage plastic and a metallic chrome holder. The two together form a round shape which is quite a clever design.
The lampshade's height is adjustable as it hangs on a rolling extendible chord, which makes it a great vintage ambient light for a room. It gives off wonderful, soft and soothing light when lit and brightens the room beautifully, which, besides it's retro atomic looks, is the reason why these lamps are still in high popular demand.
It was produced by Meblo, Yugoslavia, as part of a Guzzini collection, an Italian lighting manufacturer famous for its 60's 70's atomic lighting designs. The two studios used to partner in production and sales with collaborative branding during their prime time.
