Original school wall clock from 70's Yugoslavia. It's really large and noticeable due to it's color and modernist number font and dials. It is made of blue vintage plastic with transparent plexi glass cover and comes with a new silent battery operated quartz mechanism. Stunning vintage clock indeed.

This stylish domestic appliance was designed for Iskra. Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia. The company was home to one of the most well renowned designers of it's time, Davorin Savnik, who designed the famous Iskra ETA Telephone, which received numerous international awards for exceptional design.

This is a classic Yugoslav nostalgia piece, with its great design and excellent quality. As noted by Prof. Jonathan Woodham, much of socialist design was written-out of 20th Century design, despite is absolutely relevant innovation and quality. As time has passed since 1989, more and more interest in this "hidden" design culture is emerging. The more you see and learn about it, the more you like and want it.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with few small scratches on plexi cover and small holes around dials as seen on picture 4.
