Very retro and atomic piece of ceiling lighting straight from the space age era of the 60's and 70's.
The lampshade's height is adjustable as it hangs on a rolling extendible chord, which makes it a great vintage ambient light for a room. It gives off wonderful, soft and soothing light when lit and brightens the room beautifully, which, besides it's retro atomic looks, is the reason why these lamps are still in high popular demand.
The lamp shade is made of red and white vintage plastic with a pole going through the middle and keeping the two parts together.
It was produced by Meblo, Yugoslavia, probably as part of a Guzzini collection, an Italian lighting manufacturer famous for its 60's 70's atomic lighting designs. The two studios used to partner in production and sales with collaborative branding during their prime time.
