Iskra ETA 80 series vintage design classic (rotary dial version ETA 81). You are looking at the industrial grey ETA 81 designed by Davorin Savnik for Iskra. Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia.
Beside the fact that this item won numerous awards for design including the prestigious G Mark of the Japanese Industrial Design Promotion Organisation (JIDPO). The ETA 80 telephone is also included as part of the permanent exhibition of outstandingly designed modern products at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Munich, and Ljubljana Architecture Museum in Slovenia.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with some ware but no broken parts. Has not been tested to work, sold as it is.
