A beautiful vintage tube radio and a classic European design. The radio was released in 1961 and is one of few types to be of table top size. the radio was produced by Iskra, Yugoslavia And the model name is Vesna (Spring) De Luxe. A wonderful piece of functional and cosmetic decor indeed.
The most exciting part and functionality of this model is, that it can be used with an iPhone / iPod or any other device with an audio jack input. Just plug in your favourite music and play it via the integrated tube speakers - the sound is truly unique and nostalgic. Of course, the Planica is also good for all your AM and FM radio needs ;)

This stylish domestic appliance was designed for Iskra. Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia. The company was home to one of the most well renowned designers of it's time, Davorin Savnik, who designed the famous Iskra ETA Telephone, which received numerous international awards for exceptional design.
