Vintage 1970's metallic red wall clock and a Kienzle, Germany original. This clock has a unique blend of industrial and typical seventies design. The square shaped, almost matte red body and chrome dominated metallic and glass face and dials look great for a workshop or studio. The fact that the clock is mainly made up of metallic parts is also relatively rare, as plastics and ceramics were the dominant materials for this style and era. I have to emphasize that the metallic base really makes it a little different. Its appearance details and overall presence are very raw. That's what it's all about though, isn't it ;)

KIENZLE Uhren is one of Germany's oldest watchmakers. Founded in 1822 in Schwenningen. The watch collection of the company includes numerous models in different price segments. The corporate philosophy of Kienzle designs is to produces distinctive watches and clocks for discerning individuals.

Condition:
Good vintage condition - small chip of colour on the bottom of the body (image 4), otherwise in excellent shape. In good working order too, and, as can be seen from the photographs, it displays beautifully. The wall clock takes a standard 1.5V 'C' Type battery.

Measurements:
height x width
17 x 17 cm
6.7 x 6.7 inches

Shipping costs are sometimes a burden, but that's what makes Etsy tick:
- Overage of $2 or more will always be refunded.
- Combined shipping is very unpredictable, please ask for quote
- I try to use as much recycled packaging as possible, for reasons well known. Let me know if it's a gift. I'll give it a comfy home for the journey ;)
