Indeed a very nice record player in brown plywood from 60's Yugoslavia by Iskra (more info below).

The record player works with 45 singles and 33 big records and folds up as a very nice little suitcase with a handle that you can pull out and carry outdoors.

The player is switched on by shifting the arm away from the record and has an automatic off switch when the record is finished. It has a working European plug, plays 33/45 and 78 rpm records. It comes with a single build in mono speaker.

Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia. The company was home to one of the most well renowned designers of it's time, Davorin Savnik, who designed the famous Iskra ETA Telephone, which received numerous international awards for exceptional design.
