Original school wall clock from 70's Yugoslavia that used to be part of two side hanging pendant clock. It's quite large and noticeable due to it's color and modernist number font and dials. It is made of orange vintage plastic and comes with a new silent battery operated quartz mechanism. Stunning vintage clock indeed.

This stylish domestic appliance was designed for Iskra. Iskra ("Spark") was an electronic equipment manufacturer in Yugoslavia, established in 1946 in Kranj, Slovenia. The company was home to one of the most well renowned designers of it's time, Davorin Savnik, who designed the famous Iskra ETA Telephone, which received numerous international awards for exceptional design.

This is a classic Yugoslav nostalgia piece, with its great design and excellent quality. As noted by Prof. Jonathan Woodham, much of socialist design was written-out of 20th Century design, despite is absolutely relevant innovation and quality. As time has passed since 1989, more and more interest in this "hidden" design culture is emerging. The more you see and learn about it, the more you like and want it.

Condition:
In great vintage condition and working order, only thing to mention is a crack on top back left corner between numbers 10 and 11, but it is not seen when clock is hanged.

Dimensions:
Height / Width
32 x 32 cm
12,5 x 12,5 inches
