Very retro and atomic piece of ceiling lighting straight from the space age era of the 70's. It has a white shade with chrome top and holder which gives it a unique look to the time of mid century modern and futuristic designs. The lampshade's height is adjustable as it hangs on a rolling extendible chord.

These lamps are still incredibly popular due to their attention seeking nature but also great ambience and soft light projection. This particular one, does not have the brand sticker on it any longer but it was most probably produced by Meblo, Yugoslavia, as part of a Guzzini collection, an Italian lighting manufacturer famous for its 60's 70's atomic lighting designs. The two studios used to partner in production and sales with collaborative branding during their prime time. We had quite a few Meblo / Guzzini lamps in the shop so far, but this one really is one of a kind.

Original Meblo / Guzzini elevator, rise and fall pulley lamp. Lampshade is made of white hard vintage plastic hanging on metallic rope with a heavy chrome ball weight. The lampshade's adjustable height by weight allows it to be used for ambient light for the whole room or for more intimate lighting when required.

A truly unique mid century modern vintage wall clock from the early 70's and a Krups, Germany original - the red clock face has white Cathrineholm lotus like design graphics and simple white pop art lines for the 5 minute intervals in between with stainless steel hands, in a cream-coloured casing. The clock is dated to 1971, on the back.

A beautifully designed clock, that still looks mod and incredibly quirky and cheerful on its 42nd anniversary - a real statement piece indeed and very rarely seen.


KRUPS - as labelled on the clock face - a mid nineteenth century pioneer on the market and still a world-renowned kitchen and household appliances manufacturer. It is quite small, has front pocket for some extra space and genuine brown leather straps. It makes packing things in, as well as finding them, a comfortable experience.

Great looking turquoise-blue vintage mechanical alarm clock with from 60s or 70's China. Before mass outsourcing wasn't an everyday occurrence and Chinese products still had a name and a reputation good enough to put the "Made in China" signature right on the front. The face is black and has a very sweet moving illustration of two rabbits pushing a basket of carrots along. One tick at a time ;)

As you can see, it has signs of age and ware, also on the glass which give this item vintage character. Something you can't buy in a shop.

This particular vintage flip clock / alarm clock is incredibly mod and eye catching - from the heart of the 70's space age Eames / Panton era design and very unique. It was designed and launched in 1971 by Bosch and is the only one ever made by them. This design is timeless, although the colour easily gives away it's decade of origin ;)

Vintage flip clocks are Indeed a wonderful example of European inventiveness. The story of the flip clock begins in Italy with the founding of the company Solari di Udine in
1948. Remigio Solari, a self-taught engineer, fitted alphanumeric characters and text onto
metal (later plastic) flaps attached on a wheel mechanism, enclosed it within a glass display
and the flap display was born.

The Solari board, the name by which it would become known as, was first installed at Liège
Guillemins station in Belgium in 1956. Never before had information - or even time - been
displayed in such a fashion. It was a hit and became an industry standard in rail and air
terminals worldwide.

The black button at the back is the alarm switch.

A very nice industrial looking super 8 film splicer by Nizo. Nizo is a world renounced, high end Super 8 camera design and manufacturing company - a subsidiary of Braun and under creative guidance of Dieter Rams, the pioneer of "Good design".

A great looking and elegant accessory for a photography of film studio - for those still (again) involved with super 8 film production and editing. The box contains all the tools needed - see image 1. Functional and good looking little vintage set indeed.

This is such a simple and practical vintage home accessory. You'd think it's a bit old fashioned, and yes, we don't use telephones as much and the way we used to, but there's definitely a whole other range of electric accessories and appliances in the kitchen, backyard or in the living room, which could use an analogue widget like this one. Works great on ropes too! ;)

The cable organizer comes in original packaging, was made some time in the 60's or 70's and I think, makes a wonderfully entertaining and smart gift for him or for her. I guess they thought it back then too. The big bright stamp label translates to "The new gift idea" and the product is called the "Rollmaster" :)

It's very simple. You wind the desired cable onto it, put it back together and it becomes an automatically extendible cable, which rolls itself back and keeps the place tidy - retro style.

A really cool mid century modern, pop orange lamp straight from 70's Yugoslavia. It displays beautifully, gives off nice ambient light at night and looks great in daylight - just as every good lamp should ;) These classic designs are great statement accessories for a home or retro office and love every bit of attention they can get.

It's metallic orange and transparent glass, requires an Edison bulb. can be used with 110v/220v, with the right bulb and plug/adaptor. It is currently set up for EU plugs 220v bulb.
